Works great. Easy to use! This is the best one in the store.
We use for our son w/ autism to guide him through the discrete steps of brushing his teeth. Not the apps intended purpose, but it meets the need better than any other. It allows for verbal and written cues for short steps like brush top left rinse etc.
Updated comments: Score updated to 4 stars. Its nearly perfect, now if we could get the 10 second warning alarm before sets start and finish I would make this my go to workout companion app. Ive been looking/waiting for an interval timer with this exact interface/UI/aesthetic but I will have to stick with my current interval app selection simply because "Intervals" is not a "multitasking" (in the background running) app and I cant listen to my podcast IN THE BACKGROUND while using this app. My current older app selection allows this. The reason why I need this app to run in the background is because I check things on my phone (web/messages/notifications) in between sets but I still want Intervals to keep me on track. I want to listen to my podcasts through the podcasts app because I only store music mix podcasts on my phone and I dont want Intervals interrupting the flow of my podcasts once a workout is completed. Also, I sometimes switch up the music mid-workout if Im not feelin it. Also, couldnt find this option if it exists, but a 5/10 second warning alarm would be appreciated right before the sets begin and end.
This software is well thought-out for scalability with workout configurations. My tabata setups with this are amazing. Highly recommend this. I learned of it on a post in reddit. One of my favorite pieces of software.
Great way to do timed intervals.
Really good
The app is helpful for getting fit also this app is well designed!
Nice app with great UI. But the voice... Seriously?? I burst out laughing! Its the most de-motivating sleepy voice ever!
This is a first. Wont even download. Progress meter never moves. Notes say its compatible with my device and iOS version so...
Ive tried a lot of Tabata and interval apps. Most of them lack something important making them nearly unusable. Some lock while youre in the middle of a workout, some dont have sounds indicating when your interval is over, some dont allow you to truly customize your intervals. So far this app has none of those fatal flaws. I can think up some nice to haves but this totally useable as is. Bravo.
I like the look of this app but I cant seem to find a way to set it to vibrate to indicate a set is over. I keep my phone in my pocket while on the elliptical and need the buzz to let me know when to change directions. Otherwise, great app.
Wish it had a paperlike like look, material design.
Ive tried countless exercise apps but burn out on them quickly since Im no longer 21 and super flexible like so many of them assume you are. This app is perfect for young and "not so young" alike since you can build your own work-outs with your own pacing and (optional) with your own music. So I have routines for days when I have more energy and others for low energy days. The only thing I would suggest is a preview to show you which exercise is coming up next so you can gather the right equipment or lie down on the mat before it starts.
Right after I gave this app 5 stars, it became problematic. The voice alert stopped working sometimes. And the no lock, locks sometimes. I spend more time worrying if the app will work than actually execising. I have iphone 6.
Can finally add different songs to workouts. Love it !!!!
Love the option to add different music to different intervals. Unfortunately it isnt really working. You think you are adding a song (which, by the way you CANNOT add playlists, just and individual song. So for warm ups and cool downs you get to listen to one song on repeat) and it doesnt really give you feedback that youve added it. It shows up for a second but if you go back out a level then go back in, it isnt showing up. The in app music also doesnt override the Apple Music app. I had 2 songs going at once and had to stop the set I was doing to stop the one song that was playing over and over. No way to pause the in app music. Though, it seems you can skip songs. If only you could add more than one song.
Not working with Apple Watch. Although I created a workout on my iPhone, the Watch App does not recognize it.
Apple watch cant find workouts created on iPhone, please fix that. Great app though.
The problem is with the biggest feature of the app...selecting music to go with your training. It says "Select Songs" yet when doing so no indication is given that a song or songs are selected. And when you return to the setup of an "interval" you may recognize one of the song titles you believe you selected, truncated off the screen, and are left wondering, "Did I select the songs I wanted to select?" Needs some UI work around one of its most important assets.
