Not for short exercises or stretches

At the beginning of each exercise or stretch, the timer starts at the same times as the voice describing the exercise. This takes valuable time before you are actually doing the exercise. I had to manually reset all my stretches to compensate. Why wouldnt the timer start after the description was finished?
